Shared Dorm or Private Room? A Hostel Checklist (Demo)
Demo article: compare room type, pricing units, capacity and amenities before requesting a stay.
This is YEREVANHUB demo editorial content.
1. Know the booking unit
A dorm listing usually sells one bed; a private-room listing may price the whole room. Check the number of guests allowed per unit before comparing totals.
2. Compare privacy and facilities
Consider both a dorm bed and a private room according to your group and need for quiet. A private bedroom does not automatically include a private bathroom; read that detail separately.
3. Read the dorm category
Female, male and mixed dorms have different admission conditions. Use the description of the selected room and ask reception when something is unclear.
4. Check the full cost
Confirm whether linen, towels, locker locks, breakfast and early arrival services are included. Review the cancellation policy, arrival time and address with the property.
Final checklist: unit, capacity, bathroom, amenities, cancellation and reception confirmation. Listings marked Demo do not accept real stays.
